On Mar. 2nd, 2008, Mrs. Zhao Yali, Secretary-General of CBIA, visited Guangdong Light Industrial Machinery Plant 2 Ltd. Despite the temperature of 20 ℃, the entire Company was operating in full swing. The finished machines including large bottle rinsers were neatly arrayed outside of the workshops. In the workshops, many machines were being installed and adjusted.

Mr. Zheng Jiannong, General Manager of the Company, warmly received Mrs. Zhao. They had a discussion on the issues including the technical innovation of fillers, the adoption of new technologies, the great chances provided for the machinery manufacturing industry by the prosperous beverage industry, the career of professional manager, and mergers and acquisitions by foreign capital. Mr. Zheng said the Company is starting its beverage machinery project based upon the potential in China’s beverage market. With 24000 b/h high-speed filling lines already ordered by some beverage manufacturers, they have high confidence in opening up the broad market.

When talking about the issue of professional manager, Mr. Zheng expressed that modern companies are in urgent need of professional managers, whose own quality and professional knowledge will affect not only the length of their career as a professional manager but also the transformation and future of companies employing them. In addition, he commented on the subjects of localization in mergers and acquisitions by foreign capital, and foreign professional managers understanding Chinese market and leading companies to open up the international market.
