On the morning of Jun. 2nd, 2008, Mrs. Zhao Yali, Secretary-General of CBIA, visited Hangzhou COFCO Meite Container Co., Ltd. and had a talk with the Company’s top executives.

Being subsidiary to COFCO Pack, Hangzhou COFCO Meite Container Co., Ltd. has 5 three-colour printing lines and 1 internationally-advanced five-colour printing line, 60% of whose products are for beverage companies. As a leading container company with Wong Lo Kat, Red Bull, Suntory, etc. as its clients, the Company is studying how to make effective packages for the beverage industry and to provide irregular-shaped cans for the increasingly rich and colourful beverage market.

With 18 imported metal decorating-coating lines, 15 can making lines and 10 plastics making lines, all of which are fully-automatic and of high precision, and internationally-advanced experience and technology in metal container manufacturing, the Company mainly produces three-piece beverage cans and printed/coated metal products. Featured by the overall production capacity combined with high-definition and hi-fidelity metal decoration technology, the Company has filled up a gap of metal decoration in China with its products that have reached the level of overseas ones.
