On Jul. 27th, 2008, Mrs. Zhao Yali, Secretary-General of CBIA, came to Tianjin Harvest Industry Co., Ltd. located in Beichen Development Zone, Tianjin City. As a solely foreign funded enterprise registered in Tianjin Development Zone, the Company majors in the production of plastic containers and the R&D, manufacturing and OEM of hot-filled beverages. According to the introduction made by Mr. Chen Hua, President of the Company, Tianjin Harvest Industry Co., Ltd., founded in 1995, spent 0.2 billion yuan RMB to set up a new plant covering an area of 100000 m2 in Beichen Development Zone of Tianjin City in 2001, and equipped it with several advanced hot-filling lines imported from foreign countries. The Company has now become the largest and most advanced OEM center of hot-filled beverages in North China, and has established good cooperation relationship with beverage manufacturers including Coca Cola, Master Kong, Suntory, Yili, Nongfu Spring, Xiaoyangren, etc. When talking with the top executives of the Company, Mrs. Zhao had a discussion with Mr. Chen on the issues such as the future development of OEM, the operation of branding, and the roles and functions of an association. Mr. Chen expressed that the Company will explore new modes and ways out of OEM based upon the experiences of Zijiang and Zhongfu companies.
