On Feb. 28th, 2008, Mrs. Zhao Yali, Secretary-General of CBIA, visited Guangzhou Sinlien (Z.T.) Industrial LTD. located in Yunpu Industrial Zone of Guangzhou City. She had a talk with Mr. Zeng Xiaobin, President of the Company, on some issues including the increase in production cost, guiding customers to innovated packaging manners, the light weight of PET bottle, and supporting small companies’ development.

Mr. Zeng Xiaobin introduced the production in the Company. The Company’s products are PET bottles, 60-70% of which are used for bottled water. But the low profit rate of bottled water has also led to little profit margin of PET bottle. The other packages are relatively superior to PET bottle in terms of profit margin. With a view of guaranteeing the supply for bottled water, the Company has been engaged in making more money by regulating internal management, lowering costs, enhancing efficiency, and counteracting the increase in labour cost with the sale of more bottles. He also commented on the support of new small beverage companies, and hoped that his company can get prosperous together with beverage companies. The Company has decided its goal for the new Five-Year-Plan: a modernized company that realizes the switching from the sole production to combined research/development, production and marketing, and has its own market and brands. By 2010, the Company will have the scale, economic benefit and standardized management of a listed company. It’s believed that Guangzhou Sinlien (Z.T.) Industrial LTD. will have brighter prospects.
