On Feb. 10, China Beverage Industry Association (CBIA) had an internal working meeting to carry out a special discussion on CBST2009. It was decided to set up 6 groups (propaganda, visitor, promotion, information, on-site operation and finance) to make the Exhibition go more smoothly and serve the participants better, depending on their different requirements and with professional service personnel. The results of the Promotion Group are satisfactory — 70% of large booths have been registered, and famous foreign companies including Sidel and SACMI have completed the registration. Double Number of Visitors and Exclusive Advantages

Professional visitors are the life spring of an exhibition, which is fully realized by the Organizing Committee of CBST2009. With a view of having more professionalized, internationalized and diversified visitors for the Exhibition, the Visitor Group is operating in full swing. The visitors for CBST2009 will consist of 4 parts: overseas visitors, visitors from domestic beverage manufacturers, visitors from liquid food companies and visitors from part of domestic institutes and universities. The Visitor Group is actively contacting with foreign associations concerned, and the adverts on the Exhibition have been placed in some foreign professional magazines such as Soft Drink, in order to increase the number of overseas visitors. The Visitor Group has obtained a great quantity of information about liquid food (including dairy and wine) and cosmetics enterprises through various ways to organize more comprehensive and more diversified visitors and to maximize the effect of the Exhibition. The number of professional visitors for CBST2009 is predicted to be at least twice that for CBST2007.
