The Russian Mignews reports that the Coca Cola Company has decided to restart its traditional Used Bottle Recovery System to reduce cost by reusing these washable glass bottles. It seems necessary particularly against the background of the present global economic crisis. Used bottle washing plants will be set up in Russia, Turkey, Philippines and Latin America. The management of the Company thinks that glass bottles are more economical than aluminum cans and plastic bottles.
