Main Activities： The 4th Representative Assembly of CBIA
As a grand meeting of the elites of the Chinese beverage industry, the Representative Assembly of CBIA is held every 4 years. Several awards including 2009 Excellent Water-Saving Enterprise, Excellent Supplier Enterprise and Enterprise with Top Social Responsibility will be presented at the Assembly with “Social Responsibility” as its theme. The general election of CBIA’s leadership will also be held. Election meeting of CBIA and Special Reports 8:30～17:00

2009 Annual Conference of National Technical Committee of Beverage Standardization & 2009 Annual Conference of Technical Work Committee of CBIA
With the issuing and implementation of “the Food Safety Law”, the work of food standardization has entered a brand-new stage. At 2009 Annual Conference of National Technical Committee of Beverage Standardization and 2009 Annual Conference of Technical Work Committee of CBIA, the experts and scholars of the beverage industry will have thorough discussions on how the two committees continue to play an important role in the respect and forecast the future of the work of beverage industry standardization. The Chinese beverage industry has been developing vigorously with innovations and achievements continuing to come out. CBIA hopes that, by way of 2009 China International Beverage Science and Technology Seminar, an efficient platform will be set up for the exchange of water conservation and energy saving technologies and the publishing of the latest research results, with a view of promoting the communications between beverage companies and research institutes and boosting the scientific and technological progress in the beverage industry.
